living, loving, working in paris

I am in paris now, rehearsing with Latifa. Frans is in belfort working with Marc. Last week I was for osme days in Amsterdam, visiting a festival of young choreographers, seeing work of people i really like, i saw almost every show – i missed only some shows because of a birthday -of a good friend- and every evening i ended in the cafe. I didn’t have really deep conversations, but i was just enjoying the fact that i felt myself part of a community, i drank with people i only see once or twice a year.
and suddenly i discovered, i really needed this being part of a community, i needed to be welcomed, to see friends in the field, to see things which inspire you. I felt happy.
